About the Author
Jakayla Green a two time author and the 2019 South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Her books include:Write On With Jakayla: Creative Writing Prompts for Aspiring Kid Authors and the Amazon Best Seller, Daddy's Girl.
Jakayla wrote her first book when she was 8. She published and became an Amazon Best Seller at the age of 9. Jakayla wrote Daddy's Girl as a way to show how she and her Dad coped through her parent's separation through the use of Daddy-Daughter Day Outings. "My family and I now plan FREE community Daddy-Daughter Outings", says Jakayla. "We partner with other organizations and people that want to raise awareness about the importance of Dads spending intentional, quality time with their daughters. We give the Dads and Daughters a fun space to be together. Our prayer is that God allows each Daddy's Girl to continue to spend time with their fathers even if they are not going through anything. We are thankful that God has now restored our family."
Up to 10% of all book sales support Daddy-Daughter Day Outings all across the world. Jakayla is also the creator of the International Daddy-Daughter Day Out. This event was created in celebration of her first year as an author. On March 24, 2018, she and 8 International Daddy’s Girl Ambassadors hosted 8 Daddy-Daughter Day Outs in 3 countries to include the United States, Germany, and Nigeria. Jakayla and each ambassador planned wonderful events for girls to spend intentional quality time with their Dads. This annual event will celebrate its third year in 2020.
In September 2019, she released her second book, Write On With Jakayla: Creative Writing Prompts for Aspiring Kid Authors.
